2022 SBA T.H.R.I.V.E. with Global Containers as Selected Participant
Are you ready to T.H.R.I.V.E?
TRAIN. HOPE. RISE. INNOVATE. VENTURE. ELEVATE.
We sure are! We are thrilled to announce that Global Containers was selected as one of the nationwide small businesses to participate in the T.H.R.I.V.E – Emerging Leaders Reimagined training program sponsored by the Small Business Association (SBA).
The SBA T.H.R.I.V.E. program is an intensive 6-month training designed to help businesses get stronger and set their executive leaders ready for growth.
“Since its inception as E-200 in 2008, SBA’s Emerging Leaders has trained over 5,000 small business owners, creating over 11,000 jobs, generating nearly $1 billion in new financing, and securing over $4 billion in government contracts.”
The purpose of our participation in the program is to continue to unlock the inner potential of our business leaders. Therefore, Global Containers has invited the entire team to participate in the expert-led classes, covering the most important business topics. In addition, our executive leaders gained access to a national network of business owners, a local business coach, and a comprehensive, individualized Growth Plan to map out the next three years of Global Containers.
Our Global Containers team will be involved in the following lessons designed to help us learn the necessary skills to elevate and scale our business:
Being an Effective Leader
Business Planning & Development
Business Finance & Raising Capital
HR, Hiring & Company Culture
Marketing & Building Brand
Driving Sales
Digital Marketing & Social Media Strategies
Legal Compliance & Intellectual Property
We would like to give special thanks and show our appreciation to the program facilitators, our instructors and coaches, and the T.H.R.I.V.E community!
Supplier Diversity, the key to U.S. economic growth
“According to Forbes, Supplier Diversity Could Add $280 Billion To The U.S. Economy.”
Our Latino-owned company has the privilege to have been selected to participate in the Supplier Diversity Advancement Program 2022. A highly exclusive and selective program delivered by the Latino Business Action Network (LBAN).
“The 2019 SOLE report found that only 8% of Latino-owned businesses reported securing a corporate or government contract.”
Thus, the program aims to champion participants to better position their businesses to obtain corporate contracts and be the bridge of connection to corporate partners who are seeking to procure from minority-owned businesses (MBEs).
Our mission in the program is to better position Global Containers as a top candidate to supply packaging and logistics solutions to distinguished corporations. With this in mind, we aim to learn and apply the material provided by the LBAN professional consultants and to take advantage of the corporate connections that the program offers.
We will be working on:
Marketing & Branding – Exciting changes are on the way!
Capabilities Statement Redesign – Focusing on the VALUE, STRENGTHS, & UNIQUENESS we bring to the industry
Due Diligence – Avoiding disruption in the supply chain
Sales – Increasing our outreach & profits
